The Department of Radiology at SIMS Health plays a pivotal role in supporting accurate diagnosis, timely treatment, and effective clinical decision-making across all specialties. Equipped with advanced imaging technology, the department offers a wide range of diagnostic and interventional radiological services, ensuring precise and non-invasive evaluation of internal organs and systems. Our services include Digital X-rays, Portable X-ray imaging for ICU and bedridden patients, Ultrasound Scans, and Computed Radiography, all operated by a team of skilled radiologists and trained technicians. With state-of-the-art ultrasound machines, the department provides high-resolution imaging for a variety of diagnostic needs, including antenatal screening, abdominal scans, soft tissue imaging, and vascular studies. Early detection of congenital anomalies during pregnancy is one of our key strengths. The unit also conducts a number of interventional procedures under ultrasound guidance—such as fluid aspirations, biopsies, and catheter placements—offering safer, real-time imaging support during minor therapeutic interventions.
